We offer you farm style tranquility and a welcoming pet-friendly getaway
This retreat, situated just a few steps from the historic ‘hamlet’ of Grahamstown, provides a rare combination of proximity to town and spacious countryside serenity.
It is simple to find: situated along the R67 which joins the N2 to Port Alfred.
Travellers are invited to stop-over and experience our quality king-size or twin beds units in fully self-catering units.
The walls are decorated with unique designs and guests are encouraged to walk through the gardens, sit on the deck and experience the comings and goings of many bird species.

Our Rooms
All our rooms are fully self catering with gas stoves and the mini-kitchens are fully equipped. The rooms are spacious double rooms and the price is per room for two people. Arrangements can be made to add a third person. All the rooms have showers and three have a full size bath at well.

Family Rooms
Two of our rooms have interleading doors which are ideal for families travelling with children, or parents.
Spacious Lawns
There are large spacious lauwns just perfect for children to play, and surrounded by garden beds. There is also a dam with a deck.
Plunge Pool
There is a lovely cool plunge pool available for guests on those very hot days that are prevalent in Grahamstown during Summer.

Everything is available in the rooms for your cooking needs
Coffee, Tea, Water
Tea and Coffee is provided in the rooms. The water is borehole water and is safe to drink but you have the option of collecting fresh water from the local spring or purchasing bottled water if you prefer.
Outdoor Entertainment Area
There is an outdoor braai area that is covered and fully lit at night. Guests are welcome to braai and enjoy the wonderful evenings out in the country.
The Guest House offers the discerning traveller beautiful vistas and hospitality with the personal touch. All the modern conveniences are provided in these beautiful and stylishly appointed rooms, which each boast their own fully fitted kitchenette and ensuite bathrooms.
Situated just outside Grahamstown on the R67 to Port Alfred, our guests enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountains and are afforded all of the city’s conveniences only 7 kms away.

Free Parking
We have ample space for safe off-road parking and can even accommodate large trucks when necessary.
Bedroom Comforts
The rooms are cool inside but do have wall heaters and electic blankets for winter.
Servicing
Our rooms are fully serviced on a daily basis apart from weekends, but arrangements can be made.
Washing
Washing and drying of clothes can be arranged but please let us know about your requirements timeously.
TV
Although each room has a TV, we do not have DSTV but have a full satellite service for your enjoyment.
Non Smoking
Our rooms are a smoke free zone. There are ashtrays provided on the veranda should you wish to smoke.
Septic Tank
We operate on a septic tank system so please do not put foreign object in the toilets.
Generator
In the case of a power failure we do have generator backup and emergency light in each room.
Checkin & Checkout
Our normal checkin and checkout times are out by 10.30am and in after 2.30pm. However we are very flexible and try to accommodate travellers coming in late.
House Rules
We have a welcome card in each room with all the relevant house rules – please ensure you read this on arrival.
Cancellation Policy
If a booking is cancelled 7 days in advance a full refund will be given,. 48 hours notice is required for a 50% refund. No refund will be given closer to the time unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Deposits
We require a 50% deposit on confirmation of your booking. The balance is due when you arrive. Please take note that we do not offer card facilites so please bring cash or do an EFT

There are a number of shuttles available that we can recommend including Rhode Trip, JC’s Shuttle, Blundens, but we suggest that you hire a car to facilitate easy access to the area and give you freedom to explore
